Non - Healing Wounds

Non-healing wounds are chronic wounds that resist treatment and

fail to improve over time. 

Resulting to  infections, and may  cause pain, discomfort, and a diminished quality of life.

Diabetic Ulcers

Diabetic ulcers are chronic,

non-healing wounds, most commonly found on the feet,

that develop in individuals

with diabetes. 

Pressure Ulcers

Pressure ulcers, also known as bedsores or pressure sores, are injuries to the skin and

underlying tissue resulting from

prolonged pressure on the skin.

Venous Stasis Ulcer

Venous stasis ulcers are chronic sores that occur on the lower legs due to poor blood circulation, specifically when venous blood flow back to the heart is inadequate.

Arterial Ulcers

Arterial ulcers are wounds that occur due to inadequate blood flow through the arteries to the limbs, particularly the feet

and legs. 

Infected Wounds

Infected wounds are injuries where bacteria or other pathogens have colonized, leading to an infection. 

Whom should be referred to Rapha Wound Care?

  • Patients with a wound that persist for 30 days or more.

  • Patients with a chronic sores that have increased pain, swelling, odor, or discoloration.​

​

  • Patients with complex diabetic, pressure and venous statis wounds, arterial ulcers, delayed wound dehiscence and infections.
